Man nabbed for copper wire theft
ALEXANDRA - Tembisa man awaits trial for copper wire theft in Alex.
A Tembisa man (23) intends pleading guilty at the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court to theft of copper wire from a shop at the Boxer Shopping Centre, Alex in March this year.
He admitted to the theft of the wire valued at R2 000 and also for causing damage to the property.
He was arrested by a patrolling security guard who saw him exiting the shop. The shop owner was called and confirmed ownership of the wire which was recovered.
