Painting on a rainy day

ALEXANDRA – Children from Rays of Hope's homework club let their juices flow as they paint on canvas.

Varoom Designs has asked the children from the Rays of Hope’s Homework Club to help them decorate their client’s reception area with 500 paper planes and a collection of canvas paintings.

The Homework Club is a spin-off from Rays of Hope’s child-headed household project which cares for orphans in Alexandra by providing them with food parcels and also looking after their wellbeing.

The children were amazing and, on a rainy afternoon, 70 little ones with the assistance of some volunteers, made over 830 paper planes and 16 beautiful canvas paintings. Everyone involved had a great time letting their creative juices flow.
