Shootout in Marlboro
MARLBORO - A shootout took place in Marlboro earlier this evening.
According to the Sandton CPF a drive by shooting allegedly took place in Marlboro earlier this evening.
According to Werner Vermaak, ER24 spokesperson, the shooting caused a motorist to lose control of the vehicle he was driving.
Werner said, “We are unsure of the details of the shooting and how it occurred, however, after the driver lost control of the vehicle, it collided head on with another vehicle on the road. Only one person was treated for minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.”
A close source of the newspaper has confirmed that the shooter’s target was allegedly a taxi boss in the area.
