Auction at old Alex cop shop
ALEXANDRA – The old Alex Police Station in Wynberg will hold an auction of stolen and recovered items, including some secondhand State property, on 6 July.
An auction of stolen and recovered items and some State property will be held on 6 July at the Joburg North Cluster Police Station, formerly Alex Cluster Police Station, in Wynberg.
The station’s spokesperson, Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said the auction would start at 9am and will include items such as lawnmowers, various tools and secondhand vehicle tyres.
There will also be household appliances on auction which will include TVs, heaters and much more, Maphakela said, adding that most of the items had been stolen and recovered while others were secondhand State property.
