This comes after Wits Vice Chancellor, Professor Adam Habib said in a statement earlier that the university’s academic program would resume and police would assist them to do so.

Protesting students dispersed and ran into the Matrix building where police gathered at the door. One student shouted at police to return her scarf. Police then searched the campus trying to find more of the protestors.
