Woman stabs ex-boyfriend and girlfriend

ALEXANDRA – Woman stabs ex-boyfriend and girlfriend in bed.

A female complainant laid charges against her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend who allegedly attempted to murder the couple while they were in bed.

Confirming the incident, spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident happened at about 3am on 17 September at the victim’s boyfriend’s residence in Alex. The victim alleged that the two were sleeping when they heard someone unlocking the door. When they woke up, they saw the ex-girlfriend entering the premises armed with a knife.

The suspect allegedly stabbed the man and woman repeatedly and thereafter broke many house items in the bedroom.

The complainant managed to escape through a window after sustaining injuries to her left hand, head and neck.

Police officers didn’t specify whether or not the couple sought medical attention or if an arrest had been made.

Alex police are currently investigating the matter.
