Protests erupt at Wits
BRAAMFONTEIN – Traffic frustrations amidst another flare of #FeesMustFall protests near Wits.
Social media is abuzz with people posting their current experiences near Wits’ Braamfontein campus.

Students are said to have once again taken to the streets.

It is unclear at this stage as to what might have caused the conflict, but the students are said to have blocked off a section of Jan Smuts road in Braamfonteing which led to police inyalas trying to clear the road of rubble and protesters.

The commotion has caused yet another disruption within Braamfontein due to protest. A number of protests have been reported whereby protesters closed off roads and threw rocks at motorists.
