Burning Carnival Music Festival cancelled
MIDRAND – Dress-up dance festival is cancelled.
The much-awaited Burning Carnival Music Festival, a dress-up dance event set to take place at the Mall of Africa on 29 October, has been cancelled.
The carnival’s organisers issued a statement on 25 October stating that they are officially cancelling the festival. The reason behind the abrupt cancellation was due to unforeseen circumstances.
“It is very unfortunate that we have to cancel the festival, as we aimed to deliver the highest quality events to our audiences,” the organisers said.
The organisers added that a full refund will be offered to community members who bought tickets, as well as a discount on the next festival tickets.
