Suspects follow, threaten victim at clinic
ALEXANDRA – Assault victim followed to clinic by suspects.
Alex police are investigating two male suspects who allegedly assaulted a man and later followed and threatened him at a clinic where he was taken for treatment.
The assault happened at a tavern at about midnight on 10 October. Police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said the victim was in the company of a male and female friend when one of the suspects came over and hugged his female friend. The other suspect approached and poured beer on the victim and both suspects started punching the victim.
The victim fell to the floor and the two suspects started kicking him.
He was taken to the Alex Clinic for treatment and the suspects followed him and continued provoking him until the police were called to intervene.
