Woman allegedly steals boyfriend’s money
ALEXANDRA – Woman disappears after allegedly stealing money from sleeping boyfriend.
A woman is wanted by the Alex police for allegedly stealing money from her boyfriend which he was saving for his child’s school fees.
Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident apparently happened at night on 26 November at the boyfriend’s 16th Avenue home.
The two were the only ones at home when he showed her the money in a jacket and told her of its purpose. Kodisang said the boyfriend went to sleep, leaving the girlfriend watching television. When he woke up the following morning, she was gone, the house was locked and he couldn’t find his keys or the money.
It wasn’t specified if the child was also hers.
