Police on the hunt for three hijacking suspects

ALEXANDRA – Suspects wanted for allegedly hijacking car in midday traffic.

Alex police officers are on the hunt for three hijacking suspects who allegedly forced a motorist from his vehicle on Vincent Tshabalala Road on 24 February before driving away in it.

Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Lieutenant Allie Kodisang said the suspects approached the victim who had stopped on the road due to traffic and pointed firearms at him while ordering him out of the vehicle.

The motorist complied and after exiting the vehicle, the suspects drove away in his vehicle of unspecified make valued at R80 000.

The motorist’s laptop and wallet were also left in the vehicle.
