16-year-old son assaults mother after she locked him out
ALEXANDRA – Teenager assaults, calls his mother a bitch after breaking down a door and forcefully entering the house.
A teenager (16) is under investigation by Alex police officers for allegedly assaulting his mother and using offensive language.
Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident occurred on the early morning of 9 April at their 8th Avenue residence. The suspect found the doors into the house locked when he arrived home and broke one of them down to gain entry.
When the victim asked him why he had done so, the suspect allegedly kicked her in the stomach repeatedly while insulting her. She sustained injuries which required treatment.
Damage caused to the door was estimated at R300.
