JUST IN: Three men on the run after attempted hijacking in Wynberg
WYNBERG – Three men are on the run after firing several shots during an attempted hijacking, one person is reported to be injured.
A manhunt has been launched for three men who attempted to hijack a RAM Courier vehicle on 3rd Street in Wynberg on Tuesday.
According to a report on Alex FM, several shots were fired during the attempted hijacking.
“According to eyewitnesses, the suspects hijacked a black BMW X3 at the nearby panelbeaters and fled the scene,” the report further reads.

The getaway vehicle was later found abandoned in Phase 2 with its keys inside.
One person was reported to be injured during the incident and was transported to a nearby clinic.
