ALEXANDRA – Man arrested for allegedly assaulting lover who took him to court.
A man who allegedly assaulted his girlfriend after accusing her for dragging him to court for an unspecified offense has been arrested.
Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident occurred at 2.30pm on 5 October near Nobuhle Hostel as the two were coming from a court hearing on another case. The suspect, who may see himself back in court after police investigation, accused her of opening the case against him before allegedly assaulting her with fists.
He was arrested after she reported him at the police station.
