Son attacks father with beer bottle
ALEXANDRA – Son stabs his father as they share beers.
A man is under investigation by the Alex police for allegedly causing grievous bodily harm to his father.
Police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said the two were drinking beer at their 2nd Avenue home at 4pm on 11 November when the suspect hit the father with a beer bottle on the head. When he fell, the suspect broke the bottle, sat on the victim and stabbed him multiple times in the chest.
Neighbours who witnessed the incident intervened and took the injured victim to Alex Clinic for treatment. It wasn’t specified if the suspect was arrested or has appeared in court.
