ALEXANDRA – Disclosure of pregnancy earns woman a beating.
A woman’s disclosure of her pregnancy to her boyfriend’s sister allegedly earned her a beating by the man.
Police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said a case of assault was under investigation. The incident occurred at the suspect’s 2nd Avenue home at about 8pm on 25 November.
Apparently, the victim told the sister she was pregnant in the presence of the suspect. This seemingly didn’t go down well with him and he waited for the sister to leave before assaulting her.
