ALEXANDRA – Gunman snatches woman's R25 000 watch.
Alex police are investigating the alleged robbery of an unspecified brand-wrist watch worthy R25 000 from a woman mid-morning on 25 January.
Alex police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said the victim left her vehicle parked on 6th Avenue while attending a meeting. When she got back and was about to drive off, a lone suspect allegedly tapped on the vehicle’s window with a gun. He pointed the gun at her and demanded for the watch. When she refused, he threatened to kill her forcing her to hand over the watch. The suspect them fled on foot.
