Bhekilanga tools snatched
ALEXANDRA – Already struggling school loses equipment during theft.
KwaBhekilanga Secondary School had maintenance tools stolen sometime after 3.30pm on 10 February and 7.30am the following day.
According to Alex Police Station spokesperson, Captain Allie Kodisang the case is under investigation and they appeal to the community to assist them in identifying the suspects.
He said workers left the items secure in a locked storeroom when they knocked off. The following morning, they found the padlocks damaged and a chainsaw, a grass trimming machine and work suits all worth R3 700 missing from the storeroom.
The incident is one of several other thefts at already struggling schools.
