Mr & Miss Alexandra high school finalists
ALEXANDRA - The finalists for the Mr & Miss Alexandra high school pageant are revealed.
The finalists for Mr & Miss Alexandra high schools have been revealed.
The pageant will be take place on 7 September 2013 at East Bank Hall. The finalists are from Realogile, Minerva, Kwa Bhekilanga, East bank and Alexandra high schools. School principals and councillors have been invited to give motivational talks.
Marks Bernards, Black ROSE Academy’s CEO said the aim of the competition was to motivate and build young people so that they could be proud of who they are and where they come from. “We believe that Alexandra can be a better place with more opportunities, which is why we have invited companies and people interested in community programmes to come and see the talent,” said Bernards.
The Via Alex dance group will perform at the pageant and there will be poetry readings by Karabo and Ciamthanda. People interested in performing at the event can contact the organisers.
