Khukhanano non-profit organisation donates educational toys to children of St Martins pre-school
ALEXANDRA – Christmas season was extended to January for St Martins pre-school in Alexandra.
Children of St Martins pre-school received a special early-year visit from a non-profit organisation that brought joy and smiles to the faces of the children.
Khukhanano is a non-profit organisation based in Alexandra that helps young girls from poor communities develop their soccer skills. The organisation extended Christmas season for the children with tons of blankets and educational toys which they donated for children. The organisation also donated non-perishable food.
According to Girly Mokoena, the deputy principal at the school, the facility is in a dire need of donations of this nature and urged the business community to help. “We are so grateful that Khukhanano has come to the party and donated these goodies to our children. Our facility is in great need of donations of this nature. We call upon all business people to help our children,” Mokoena said.
