Police hunt pedestrian’s robbers
ALEXANDRA – Men loses shoes, phones to early morning robbers
Two suspected robbers are on the run from the police for the robbery of a pedestrian in Vincent Tshabalala Road.
According to Alex Police Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji, the incident occurred at 4.30am on 26 January at the 22nd Avenue intersection. The suspects stopped the victim at gunpoint as he walked to work and demanded money and cell phones. “They took his two phones and running shoes without firing any shots and let him go,” Malatji said.
