Gunners to host Play for Education initiative at Alex Mall
ALEXANDRA – Gunners will host the Play4Education initiative at the Alex Mall this weekend.
Alexandra Gunners will hold a Play4Education Little League for U7 to U10 age groups on 13 April at the Alex Mall 5-a-side pitches.
“The day is designed to be a mechanism to provide our future leaders with the tools to succeed,” said organiser Stanley Makhubela. “Our main priority is to inspire our youth to dream big, do great things and more importantly use this as a platform to present them with the Play4Education benefit proceeds such as school bags, school shoes and many other basic/essential school accessories.”
The event will take place from 9am to 3pm for boys and girls with eight teams participating by invitation. Finalists will receive education-related goodies.
