Police get robbed
ALEXANDRA - The police was robbed of two computer screens on the weekend of 13 September.
The Alexandra police station was robbed of two computer monitors over the weekend of 13 September.
The office was locked at the close of business on Friday afternoon and it was only discovered on Monday morning that the monitors were missing. Communications officer Constable Ida Murovhi said the police assumed that the burglars broke the window from outside with a brick and made their way into the office.
“The security door was locked on Friday afternoon and there has been no forced entry there,” Murovhi said.
A case of business burglary has been opened and is under investigation. Murovhi added it was a disgrace that people even steal from the police station.
