Cops hunt killers of man at busy junction
ALEXANDRA – Cops investigate man's deadly shooting at busy intersection
A man estimated to be 38 years old was shot dead on the evening of 6 June at the intersection of 15th and Joe Nhlanhla avenues.
According to Alex police spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji, a group of men allegedly attacked the victim before the shooting. Police officers dispatched to the scene found him already dead.
Malatji appealed to those who witnessed the incident to come forward. “The intersection is usually a busy place with many likely to have seen the incident unfold or knew the perpetrators,” Malatji said.
