Computer thieves still at large
ALEXANDRA - Computer thieves were still not arrested three weeks into the investigation.
There had been no arrests or recovery of computers stolen from the Greater Alexandra Development Forum three weeks into the investigation.
The theft of the computers which cost about R60 000 had left the centre’s computer lesson classes non-operational. Computer screens stolen from the Alexandra police station had also not been recovered.
Constable Ida Murovhi of the Alexandra Police Station said the investigation of both cases was on-going and no arrests had been made. “We appeal to anyone who could have information to report the matter to the police,” said Murovhi.
