Dead woman has not been claimed
ALEXANDRA - A woman has not been claimed by anyone and is at the Johannesburg morgue.
A woman died on the 30 August and her body has not been claimed at the Johannesburg morgue.
Nombulelo Xaba died while in the care of Sandile Mbuyani, founder of Mpilwende Community Care in Life, who had only known her for two days. Mbuyani met Xaba in 14th Avenue and decided to take her in.
“She looked so lost and alone so I offered to buy her food then took her to my home,” said Mbuyani. “I’ve always been a helper and I could not just leave her on the street.”
Xaba was from the Eastern Cape and it is believed that she has no family in Alexandra. Anyone with information regarding her friends and/or relatives can contact the police.
