Police looking for high-jack suspects

BRAMLEY - Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly high jacked a vehicle at gunpoint last Monday.

Bramley police were looking for two suspects for an alleged hijacking incident.

The complainant was waiting for a friend at the corner of Louis Botha Avenue when he was allegedly approached by two male suspects who offered to replace his windscreen wipers. The suspects allegedly proceeded to replace his wipers and the complainant instructed them to stop. One of the suspects approached his window and pointed a gun at him.

“The suspect instructed the complainant not to scream and the keys were already in the ignition,” said Bramley police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela.

The complainant got out of his vehicle and the suspects drove away towards Rauma Avenue. Maphakela appealed to the public to assist the police with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects.
