Alex cops in the nick of time on fleeing hijacker
ALEXANDRA – Hijacker no match for Alex detectives.
Alexandra Police Station detectives nabbed a suspected hijacker in Parktown on their return from Soweto to track a murder suspect.
The three officers’ suspicion was raised when they spotted a man running. They stopped their vehicle, pursued and apprehended him. As they took him back to where he came from, they met security guards in an Isuzu bakkie with another man who identified the suspect as one of a gang which had hijacked him in Parkview.
The suspected was detained at their station pending further investigation.
