ALEXANDR – Cops seek public help on wanted man
Alexandra Police Station has appealed for help from the public on the whereabouts of a man wanted in connection with the murder of a woman.
Police spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji said Aubrey Thompson Rashilo (pictured) has valuable information about the incident which occurred in October last year. The victim died after her boyfriend poured acid on her. A friend of hers was also injured and bears marks from the acid attack.
Malatji said Rashilo, whose last known address was No 24, 7th Avenue, knows he was wanted but has been avoiding coming forward. “We urge members of society with knowledge of his whereabouts to contact Detective Justice Monyai on 082 261 4436 or Colonel Abram Modise on 082 499 0449.
