Drug-related bribery attempt case in court
ALEXANDRA –Four in court for illegal Sandton drug lab and bribery of cops.
A man who tried to bribe the police with R100 000 will appear in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court on a charge of corruption.
Dozie Okeke was arrested in March last year at a Sandton house where he offered the bribe to officers he found arresting three others for manufacturing drugs. The officers who had been tipped off about the place found a fully equipped clandestine laboratory and ingredients for manufacturing crystal meth commonly known as tik.
Okeke was detained with the other three who are yet to plead. All of them will appear in court while on bail.
