Covid-19: Gauteng Health Department aided by big donations in fight against coronavirus
Companies such as BMW, Old Mutual made donations ranging from personal protective equipment, transportation, communication devices and food items.
The Gauteng Department of Health has thanked the countless contributions made by many businesses who came on board after MEC for Health Bandile Masuku asked for donations to help in the fight against Covid-19.
In a statement, the department thanked the support of companies such as BMW, Old Mutual, MTN, Samsung Africa and Gift of the Givers among many others for their donations.
“The donations range from personal protective equipment, transportation, communication devices, consumables, bedding facilities, food items including those that have offered their expertise free of change,” the statement read.
The department said the donation will make a meaningful impact to help flatten the curve of Covid-19.
