Inquests dockets opened in two murders

ALEXANDRA - Police in Alexandra have opened inquests dockets in connection with two unknown murders.

Alexandra police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela says they have opened inquest dockets in connection with two mysterious murders.

The police were called to Alex Clinic and Edenvale Hospital to attend to two bodies, one with stab wounds and the other with lacerations all over his body.

At the clinic, police were shown a body with stab wounds, identified as that of Jabu Eddie Sithole. It was not known when and where Sithole had been stabbed nor the motive for his murder.

At Edenvale Hospital, police were shown the corpse of a man identified as Walter Mohale Phalane. His face and body were covered in multiple lacerations, and there had been bleeding from his nose and mouth.
