ALEXANDRA - A 27 year-old woman returned to her house after a weekend at her friends to find her door wide open and clothing and other items strewn all over the floor.

According to Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela the woman had locked her house and closed all the windows before leaving. When she returned on Sunday morning, she had a shock of her life when she discovered her front door wide open.
Her DVD player, speakers and the remote control, all worth about R3 000 were missing.
Maphakela said the police were still looking for the suspect or suspects in connection with the break-in and theft of the items.
