Khungwane memorial to be held in Alex
Soccer legend Isaac Shakes Kungwane to be laid to rest.
South African soccer legend Isaac Shakes Kungwane who died of diabetes complications on 28 May, will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Fafung, Brits on 7 June from 9h00 – 11h30.
This was announced by family spokesperson Aaron Kungwane, who also said the funeral would be preceded by a memorial service on 4 June at No 3 Square Sports Complex, 13 Avenue, Alexandra.
Members of the public wishing to attend the late soccer legend Isaac Kungwane’s funeral this weekend in Brits are requested to arrange their own transport.
Family spokesperson Aaron Kungwane regrets that much as they wanted to assist, the six buses donated by government to ferry mourners are already full.
