Suspect’s father rushes bleeding man to hospital where he dies on arrival
ALEXANDRA - The father of a suspect rushed to the scene of a stabbing incident and took the badly bleeding man to a hospital where he died on arrival.
The father of a suspect rushed to the scene of a stabbing incident and took the badly bleeding man to a hospital where he died on arrival.
He had been alerted to the stabbing incident by a family friend which allegedly involved his son. He got into his car and drove to the scene in 18th Avenue and found a man lying on the ground and bleeding badly.
He then picked up the man and rushed him to Edenvale Hospital in his car, but the man died.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said the man’s son has since been arrested and will appear in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court on a charge of murder.
Maphakela said the reasons for the stabbing were not known at this stage.
