ALEXANDRA - A fed-up mother has pleaded with the cops to arrest her son for allegedly stealing from her and selling her items to scrapyards in order to buy nyaope.
A FED-UP mother has pleaded with the cops to arrest her son for allegedly stealing from her and selling her items to scrap yards in order to buy nyaope.
The 53-year-old mother from 20th Avenue in Alexandra, walked into the cop shop in Alexandra and demanded that police come to her home to arrest her son.
“I am sick and tired of this boy. Each time he comes home, my valuables go missing,” she told officers.
The mother said she had since chased him away to find his own place to live.
“He comes here either when I am away or sleeping, and breaks into the house and steals,” she said.
“Recently he stole my catering equipment such as tables, food warmers and gas stoves and sold them to the scrap yard.
“I am fed up with this boy who sells all my valuables to buy nyaope and I have come here to plead with you to arrest him.”
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses said they encouraged the mother to open a case of theft against her son.
“We can only arrest him once a case has been reported, before that there is very little we can do,” Maphakela said, adding that they were hunting for him as his whereabouts were unknown.
“We want him to answer allegations of theft in a case that his mother finally opened.”

My domestics one son is also into this nyope. He has already hit her and left her with black eyes and a swollen face. She layed a charge, police arrested him. Sent him to sun city jail/prison. And in a month he was back at the door knocking trying to get money.
