Calling on entrepreneurs to showcase their products

CREATIVE Mind Movement, an organisation based in Alexandra, will be holding ‘a pop up’ social market behind the Engen Garage in Tsutsumani on 31 August from 10am to 6pm.
The market will be a free event where entrepreneurs can come and sell their wares, said organisers Levi Ledwaba and Sakhile Shabangu, who are both founding members of the Creative Mind Movement.
“This is a simple concept that hopes to bring together entrepreneurs in many different areas with potential clients or customers,” Ledwaba said.
“The idea is to bring both entrepreneurs and possible clients together at one venue, create social interactive vibes and make it comfortable for both parties to interact, while at the same time endeavouring to sell or promote their products to these potential buyers. We are literally opening a market for these entrepreneurs.”
The market will take place once a month and will be held at different venues.
“The targeted customers of the social market place are the youth, and therefore we hope entrepreneurs will bring along products to showcase at the stalls that will appeal to the [them],” he added.
“This will also be an opportunity for service providers to advertise their products or services as companies.
“A social scene will be very much alive at the market, and different kinds of products will also add ambiance to the event such as art, cultural wear, vintage wear, crafts, different… cuisine, drinks and other products.”
Registration for stalls closes on 25 August.
