Woman plunges knife into boyfriends stomach
ALEXANDRA - A woman who plunged a knife into the stomach of her boyfriend for suspicions of double-crossing her has been arrested by the police.
A woman who stabbed her boyfriend in the stomach has been arrested by Alexandra police.
The woman accused her boyfriend of double-crossing her. The woman is said to have gained entry into the man’s house in the early hours of the morning and found him asleep with somebody.
She slapped her boyfriend and then stabbed him. The man was sleeping with his younger brother’s friend and the two battled to retrieve the knife from the angry woman. They finally managed to wrestle the knife away from her and then called the police.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said the woman, depending on the severity of the wound, would be charged with attempted murder or assault with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.
Maphakela said the woman, who is expected to appear at the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court claimed when she found two people sleeping together, she suspected her boyfriend of double-crossing her with another woman.
