Gauteng education official lambasts ‘obnoxious’ Kunene
ALEXANDRA - A Gauteng Department of Education official has lambasted Sandton businessman Kenny Kunene for his 'notorious' taste for sushi from the top of naked women.
A Gauteng Department of Education official has lambasted Sandton businessman Kenny Kunene for eating sushi off the bodies of naked women.
Johannesburg East district director, Raymond Martin, launched the scathing attack on Kunene and celebrity Khanyi Mbau when he addressed the Respect & Ubuntu Foundation’s Adopt a Learner School Uniform gala dinner organised by Alex-born business tycoon and now Bramley resident, George Moyo.
Speaking at the Alexandra campus of the Central Johannesburg College, Martin, who was standing in for Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, said he was horrified by the deeds of the two, especially Kunene.
“What messages are we sending out there with these abhorrent behaviours which are un-African. Are we saying it is okay to abuse helpless women in that fashion because you simply have the money to afford that luxury of abuse.
“Are we saying to our boys that it is okay to abuse those poor women because you happen to be a business tycoon. If Kunene is stinking rich, why doesn’t he engage in noble activities that noblemen such as [George] Moyo and [Justice] Maphosa are involved in, as we are witnessing today.
He said many children and adults in the country go to be bed hungry. “And yet our so-called tycoons and celebrities engage in devious and obnoxious social exercises that undermine the very values of ubuntu that we are so desperately trying to build in this country,” Martin said.
Martin had equally harsh words for Mbau, “What sort of role model does she think she is for our young girls. These girls will grow up thinking being a celebrity is doing the abominable things she has done and continues to do.”
Mbau is considered a gold-digger for her notorious flings with older men, and for being extravagant and indulging in wasteful expenditure. She is known for spending over R50 000 for one appointment at the hairdresser on numerous occasions, without consideration for charity. People have speculated whether a different chemical was used on her, as opposed to the normal price of R500 or so in a reasonably upmarket hair salon.
