Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Manare Ramatshela said the vehicle a blue Audi A1 was hijacked at gun point last week by a lone man outside Nokuthula Special School, Marlboro. The vehicle taken from the owner at 2 30 pm was immediately reported and recovered at 2 50 pm at the corner of 16th Avenue and Florence Maphosho Avenue by a crime prevention unit patrolling in the area.
When they approached the car the hijacker is said to have fled. The vehicle is at a police pound while investigations are continuing.
