ALEXANDRA - A 33 year old Alex man has been remanded in custody by the Alexandra Magistrate's pending bail hearing for a rape case involving a 15 year old girl.
An Alex man (33) has been remanded in custody by the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court pending a bail hearing for a rape case involving a 15-year-old girl.
The court heard that the man who was the boyfriend of the victim’s sister, raped her at her home on 7 April and apparently used a condom. He gave her R200 and told her to go to her friends on 10th Avenue.
The girl was supposed to have been on holiday with her aunt in Limpopo when the alleged rape occurred. The aunt found out about the incident on her return and reported the matter, leading to the man’s arrest.
