October 15 is Global Handwashing Day, an initiative which was launched in 2008 to help increase awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.
We use our hands for most daily tasks, and we are constantly in contact with others! Not washing your hands after visiting the loo can infect your kids, family, co-workers, and so forth.
