Chamber has new MD
ALEXANDRA – Mxolisi Mngomezulu has taken over as the new managing director of the Greater Alexandra Chamber of Commerce's Youth Chamber.
Mxolisi Mngomezulu, who has headed the Greater Alexandra Chamber of Commerce’s Youth Chamber, has taken over as the new managing director, following the departure of Mamiki Matlawa.
Mngomezulu took over from Matlawa in June this year when the latter accepted a post in the private sector. Mngomezulu has headed the youth chamber since its inception more than five years ago.
Besides his involvement in the chamber, Mngomezulu is also a keen footballer who has played and coached various clubs in Alexandra and plays for Sundowns in the Alex Masters Soccer League.
His notable involvement with Alex football was as technical director of the Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association, where he conquered all and sundry with his boys and girls teams in the inter-local football association competitions.
