Sandtonview teachers set a sporting example
JOBURG - Sandtonview High School teachers proved that age and physical challenges were no impediments to sweating it out on the athletics track.
The teachers participated in a 100m dash after putting the school’s athletes through their paces. The athletes are preparing for the inter-district competition at the Germiston Stadium later this month. Though slower than the pupils, the effort of the teachers was enthusiastically cheered on by the pupils.
Hopefully, this will set a trend for their teaching counterparts at other schools to not only lead by example in the classroom but also on the sports field.
