Marlboro man injured in accident
ALEXANDRA - A Marlboro man was wounded on the hip and ribs when his car collided with a prison kombi at the intersection of Vincent Tshabalala and Sheridan Roads in Riverpark, Alexandra.
Amos Mthimkhulu, who works for Renew It, a Mercedes Benz panel beating outlet, was travelling towards the N3 Freeway on a company errand when he claimed the kombi turned right in front of him at about 10am.
He was rushed to hospital though he was not serious and could freely answer questions from this reporter. The driver of the kombi escaped unharmed.
Mthimkhulu’s car was hit on the driver’s side and went on to hit the traffic lights.
