DJ Arch Junior to spin the decks at McDonald’s soccer festivals
JOBURG – While footballers will mesmerise the crowds with their nimble feet, DJ Arch Junior will use his nimble fingers to enthral his audience.
Apart from the sizzling football, Alexandra’s own toddler DJ sensation, DJ Arch Junior will mesmerise fans of the beautiful game during the McDonald’s Schools League soccer festivals.
This was announced by McDonald’s South Africa corporate affairs director, Sechaba Motsieloa, at the launch of the McDonald’s South Africa U14 Schools League at the Nike Football Training Centre in Pimville, Soweto.
“What a festival we will have, watching our nimble-footed U14s thrilling spectators with their football skills while the entertainment will be provided by a nimble-fingered three-year-old DJ sensation from Alexandra,” announced Motsieloa to loud applause from the audience as DJ Arch Junior, whose real name is Oratilwe Madumo, took to the stage.
Motsieloa said the young DJ had been roped in to entertain the crowds expected at the soccer festivals. “I am sure he will not disappoint and I can tell you now, you’re in for amazing entertainment,” he said.
DJ Arch Junior is South Africa’s youngest DJ and 2015 SA’s Got Talent winner, who won the hearts of South Africans with his deejaying skills which he learnt from his father, Glen Hlongwane, who in turn was taught by his father, Moses Hlongwane.
