JOHANNESBURG - Joburg Water announces modified water restrictions due to weather
Johannesburg Water has announced a modification to the current Level-2 water restrictions due to a change in weather conditions.
The currently imposed restrictions prevented residents from watering or irrigating their gardens from 6am to 6pm but due to colder weather conditions, the times have been changed.
The restrictions are now from 8am-4pm, with the utility reminding residents that water restrictions remain in place.
This means that residents are also not allowed to fill their swimming pools with municipal water or use their hosepipes to wash their cars or paved areas.
Joburg Water also encouraged residents to contact Joburg Connect should they require more information.
