Twitter reacts to Oscar Pistorius’ sentence
People have taken to Twitter to react to Oscar Pistorius sentencing of 6 years for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to 6 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
Despite the minimum prison sentence for murder in South Africa being 15 years, Judge Thokozile Masipa read out the sentence after three days of hearing arguments from both the state and Pistorius’ defence.
