Another interesting work of art depicting South African president Jacob Zuma on show at Constitution Hill, and the country has had mixed responses.
The country was stunned by two works of art by Ayanda Mabulu, which show the artist’s perception of the South African president’s relationship with the infamous Gupta family.
The art pieces, painted on cushions, have gained much attention since the pictures made their way to social media and have had the same controversial outcome as Brett Murray’s painting of Jacob Zuma exhibited at the Goodman Gallery in 2012.
The Johannesburg Twittersphere erupted with posts both condoning and condemning the paintings, which have been trending using #AyandaMbulu.
