Trees for KwaBhekilanga

ALEXANDRA – Mandela Day was celebrated at KwaBhekilanga Secondary School by two companies that planted 18 trees for environmental purposes.

As part of Mandela Day, staff members of Tetra Pak and Mpact Recycling, in partnership with Food and Trees for Africa, planted 18 trees at KwaBhekilanga Secondary School in Alexandra.

“At Mpact Recycling we’re in the business of sustainability through our active commitment to job creation, looking after the environment and socio-economic activities,” said John Hunt, managing director of Mpact Recycling.

“Our brand promise is to protect what’s good,” said Agripa Munyai, environmental manager of Tetra Pak South Africa.

“We focus on protecting food, people, and the future.”
